Comments on article:

I thought this article was very informative and useful. It made me really think about the audience, tone, execution, and importance of my PSA. I think that I will be using this article to measure how well I am doing on the PSA in regards to content and presentation of the content.

I thought this was a great video because it got the information across effectively and was well edited. I think that I might use this format in my PSA.

I thought the information/ content of this video was great, but the editing and production was not. I learned a lot of what not to do from this PSA.

Your PSA :

• What are the key points you will emphasis

I will emphasize the culture of accommodation that educators have created for students, the importance of educating students on the topics covered in the workshop, my personal success rates, etc etc etc.

• What visuals and audio are appropriate

I think a power point, soft music, a website, and/or maybe a video would be fine

• What type of PSA you will use?

I really liked the typography video so I might do something similar.

• Outline of proposed structure.

1. Intro to problem

2. Why it is a problem (research)

3. How to solve the problem

4. How my product will solve the problem (workshop data)

5. How I plan to implement my product

Capstone Project Statement of Intent

1. The goal of this project it to help students overcome the psychological handicap that they place on themselves when confronted with their "tough subject".
2. This is important because students can achieve way more than they believe that they can. If we undo the mindset that the culture has created for them then they can truly succeed in all areas of their academics. 
3. These goals fit in with my career objectives because I would like to become a teacher. I hope to implement my end product, a curriculum/workshop, into my classroom and teach students about their true potential.
4. This project gives back to society by teaching the future generation and equipping them to become the problem solvers that we need them to be. 

Class Evaluation

I really enjoyed it, I think that the HTML tutorials could be taught in a more organized fashion. Other than that it was a very fun and informative class!

I plan to film a video on how to bake a two layer german chocolate cake with a cherry filling. Or how to bake chocolate chip cookies I haven't decided yet.
